Larimer County Parks and Open Lands extended one boat ramp at Horsetooth Reservoir and extended another. The new one (right) is about 200 yards north of the swim beach and provides boating access to elevation 5,333. The extended one (far left), at the swim beach, allows boats to launch at elevation 5,354. Reclamation requires the reservoir's elevation to remain below 5,360 feet during construction to ensure dam safety. |
